I got up very early and went in to work. Danny called me about noon or so and asked what time I would be home and I told him the usual, 5pm. He convinced me to come home because Bubbah had something special for me. So around 2pm, I left work and headed home. I got home and surprised to find Danny by the door with flowers on one hand and Malik on the other. I thanked them and demanded food because I was hungry. Danny informed me that I needed to sit down and relax, and turn on my laptop. As soon as I turned it on, a slide show of 10 things he love and appreciate about me came up. It was so sweet and cute. I thought that was creative of him and Malik. Thanks to Josie who helped out. It was so sweet. Then he gave me my gift which were two perfumes, a pair of Nike running shoes, a cute make up bag full of facial creams and lotions, and 2 gift certificates. After opening the gifts, I thanked Danny and Malik and then started telling them that these were so expensive and I don't really need them. I told Danny that we should go and return them because we could use the money for something else. Danny refused to return them and reminded me that's why he doesn't buy me gifts because I always ended up returning them back so I didn't insist any further. Josie got there in few minutes and we took off to the mall to go spend my gift cards. The mall was great because I was able to use my gift card to buy few things that I have always wanted.
I just wanted to thank Danny and Malik for making this day very special for me. I know we are broke now since both Malik and I have our birthdays 4 days apart but it was nice to know that Danny is so creative :). Hon, I appreciate all you did today and thanks for letting me sleep instead of going to the movie. I love both you and bubbah very much.

Hi Vika!! I didn't know your birthday is in October!! No wonder why you're so awesome!! I didn't know you like running too! Well, we have to sign up for some runs and stuff! Well, it's a month late, but Happy Birthday!! I'm so glad Danny takes care of you like that!! What a great guy! You deserve it!!
Aww way cute kudos to danny that was very thoughtful and I don't think devon needs to teach a class in the EQ on that particular subject because danny is a natural:) I am glad you had a great & deserving birthday VIKA...HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Awww, how sweet of Danny! I can so picture you trying to return the gifts! Hahaha... Saia does the same, so i just get him cheap presents now or just don't get him anything, lol.

oKAY! that is why wayne says he doesn't like to buy me gifts - because i return everything!! lol. good for you for keeping something he obviously thought so much about. what a fun birthday. good job danny!! (I'll have to get wayne to read this to get some good tips!!:))
