Valentine

For those of you who know me in college you know that I hated this day. I hated that we have to celebrate "love." I hated that guys have to do these cheesy things to girls. But now that I am married, I actually kinda like this day, key word "kinda." Danny had planned for us to go out and eat at PF Chang on Friday but after work on Friday, I was so exhausted to go anywhere.

What we did -

Danny and I went to the Mount Timpanogos Temple. It was perfect! Because of our crazy schedules we don't make it to the temple as often as we like but I was so glad that we were able to attend today given that it was Valentine. The whole time we were there I just felt so special and so much in peace. Oh, I just love the temple! Couple of times, I found myself dreaming away when we got sealed and how Heaven would be like. Danny and I got sealed in this temple so it just made it so much special. Another side note about this temple is that this is the first temple I went to after I got released from my mission, in fact the very next day my trainer Sites and I drove down from SLC to just to site seeing and ended up going in to the temple because of how beautiful it looked from the outside.

After the temple, we came and picked up Malik and headed to PF-Chang. It was so packed and because we were late, we lost our reservation so we decided to stop by other restaurants. We first went to Tucanos but it was packed too and it was a 5 hours wait. Macaroni Grill was also packed so we decided to just order some PF-Chang and stayed home.

Danny was upset that we didn't go out but I was just fine. Those of you who know me, know that I HATE eating out. I prefer my comfortable home. However, Monday the 16th, Danny brought me beautiful flowers to work and him and Malik took me out for lunch to PF-Chang. It was great! There were hardly anyone there and the food was absolutely amazing. It was worth the wait. I told Danny after that I like this and that we should do this as our Traditional Valentine Holiday - celebrate it after Valentine :)

Now, I can absolutely say that I love Valetine day. I am just thankful that I have my husband and my son who love me so much. My husband is quiet but he expresses his love to me often and I appreciate that he is patience with me and helps and supports me in everything that I do. I am thankful and grateful for everything that he does for me. I love you honey!
