June 2009 - Playing in the Park

Most of the times, I would sit at work, school, or home and feel really bad that I don't have more time to spend with my family like other moms do. I see pictures of my friends and their kids getting together and go to the library, go to the zoo, or going out for a "play day." I would immediately feel really bad that I can't take Malik to those activities. So, I decided that I would take Malik out to a park or just for a walk as soon as I get off work every day. Luckily, our apartment is not too far off from a little park. Everyday after I get off work, I would take Malik to this particular park and play with him. Malik really enjoyed himself and I love watching him laughs, giggles, or just have a great time. I know I can still make time to take Malik to different activities if I just make time in my busy schedule. I love my son! He is the greatest gift Heavenly Father has given me apart from his gift of the the Atonement. When I sit there in the park and watch him play and swing, I am in Heaven!
