Above was the invitation, created by Candice Kalamafoni for our 1st family home evening. Because it was such a huge event and a very historical one, I took off work just to prepare everything for the FHE. Nah, Malik was not feeling too well today. He had running nose, cough, and a little warmer than normal so I decided to take the day off to make sure my baby was allright. The day turned out good. I got to spend sometimes with Malik and of course straightened up the house for the big event to night.
We started our FHE around 7pm or so. Danny conducted by welcoming everyone(Latus,Kalamafonis,Filimoeatus)to our 1st multi-family FHE. We sang "I Love to See the Temple" and Mary offered the opening prayer. The lesson was given by Wayne and it was such a nice lesson. After reading Cor 12:12- , we went around the room and mentioned what we love about our spouses. Then we ended with a light refreshment (banana cake,ice-cream,watermelon) and games(bingo) provided by Candice. To night was actually the very 1st formal FHE for me and Danny since we got married. It was fun, enjoyable, and spiritual at the same time. Because, it was a success we decided that we would have it on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month and we would rotate hosting it so the next one would be on May 19th at the Latus.

Wow, that sounds like so much fun! It's nice to know that there are more and more people doing blogs :) Well, glad I found you all :) see u Sunday
