Fathers Day

Things that Malik and I did for Danny's 1st Fathers Day -

* we got him a new suit (cost more than we can afford :))

(I let Danny pick out his own suit. There were others that were on sale but knowing Danny he hardly buys anything thats onsale.)

* we let him buy shrimp

(For those of you who know me, you know that I absolutely dislike seafood and I don't like the smell of seafood so we never buy them. And when I met Danny, he told me that he didn't like seafood either but lately I have seen him eating shrimp and ota (raw fish...go figure... So, it was a big deal to let Danny buy shrimp.

* we let him sleep in

(Because Danny works night shift during the week, I always try to sleep in on Sunday morning so that Danny can watch Malik.)

* we helped him made breakfast

(Danny always make Sunday breakfast but this morning we helped him....)

Things we wanted to do but didn't get to -

* make you an ice-cream cake

* get you a card

* get you flowers

Both Malik and I wanted to do more but watching the fireworks was so exhausted. We hope you had a wonderful fathers day. We are so blessed to have you. We want you to know we love you so much and appreciate all that you do for us and our little family.
