Filimoeatu Family Reunion went from May 29 - Jun 1st. Because Danny worked at nights we couldn't attend Friday night, when it started. And, on Saturday we couldn't attend either because we went to my 1st cousin, Lupe, high school graduation party. So, right after church today, we drove up to SLC to attend the last day of the Filimoeatu Reunion. They had a potluck dinner/FHE at Granger Park. We got there and almost all the families were there, even the ones from LA. I believe the last time we saw all of the families was when Danny's grandpa passed away last year. So it was nice to see everyone out there, today. Not only that, but the food was so good. I told Danny on our way home that I love going to his family reunion because the food is so tasty. For those who don't know, Danny's dad can really cook and I am so sad that Danny doesn't take after him :(. Not only that, but Danny's aunt, Silia, owns a restaurant and she can cook as well so whenever the Filimoeatus have a gathering I always look forward to the food and of course to see the families :). Malik was able to see his many aunts, uncles, and cousins on danny's side. I was glad that we made it there today. It was such a nice day to be outside and not to mention that beautiful park

I'm sad Saia didn't inheret his mom's mad cooking skills, too. I think that whenever the parents cook really well, the kids don't bother to learn to cook. Let's make a goal to make sure our sons learn to cook at least! :)
