14th Month Letter

Dear Son,

This letter is way behind but I couldn't let a month pass by without writing you. It's Christmas season now and you are just enjoying every minute of it. You have grown up so fast and you are such a busy little toddler. You walk a lot more now. You love to wander off on your own so you can imagine that I am a very busy mom when we go to public.

When you are at home, you love to empty our kitchen drawers and cupboards. And you absolutely love to play drums on our spatula, utensils, and pots. We don't mind it as much because we love seeing you enjoy yourself. You also love to talk now. You make a lot of noises at home when you want something. It's cute because you point to the water bottle and make this cute little noise and we know that you are thirsty. You also do it with other things like food, clothes, and toys. You also love to attempt to run. Its funny to watch you to this. Your head goes forward and your body follows but your little feet can't really go as fast as you wanted it. You fall alot when you do this but you are strong because you don't cry you just get back up and try again.

Your physical appearance changes a lot. Your hair is getting thicker and thicker and it's curly. You also love to eat like your daddy. You eat pretty much anything now. Your favourite food is still nuggets and your favourite drink is water and caprisun. You don't really like vegetables but you will eat it if I mix it with other food. You also enjoy eating cereal, oranges, Fuji apples, ice-cream, chocolate, and many more. You are pretty heavy for your age but we are going for your 15 months check up next month so we will see then. You are very strong too. You can carry around my scriptures at church and you can pick up the caprisun boxes. You are also so smart. You understand most of what we say and you talk back a lot. It's just so cute!

For Christmas, your dad and I didn't want to buy you any more toys. You still have toys from your 1st birthday that you haven't opened. The only thing we got you was a little race car desk and clothes. You didn't mind at all. You were so good. You enjoyed opening the presents and your stocking.

Son, we love you so much. We tell you everyday how much we love you. We are so thankful that we have been blessed with you. You are a handful sometimes but you bring so much joy into our lives. We want nothing but the best for you. Time has truly gone by so fast for us. Next thing we know, you will be going to school but we won't mention that yet.

I love you and thank you for being my son.

Love Always,
mommy
