Fun time in Vegas!

Right after my last exam, we packed our stuff and headed down to Vegas. The drive was good. Danny and Malik snored at the back while I drove all the way to Vegas. I actually didn't really mind it because I used to take roadtrips with my roommates when I was single. Couple of times, I drove down by myself to Vegas right after work on Friday and met up with some friends from California. So, I enjoyed driving all the way to Vegas because it brought a lot of memories.

As soon as we got in to Vegas, I noticed that all 2 lanes were blocked and no one was moving. As I got nearer, I noticed a car flipped upside down on the side of the road. It was pretty awful to see. But the good thing we were able to get out of that in no time.

We finally got in to our Hotel which I was most grateful for because I was ready to get out from the car and stretch out. Our room was ready for us but wasn't too impressed with the whole smoking casino entrance but it's typical of Las Vegas.

Malik and Danny were excited to hit the strip. Malik really enjoyed himself watching the different lights. He didn't want me or Danny to hold him. He wanted to walk around on his own especially getting on and off the elevator as we went up to our room.

After we got our bags unpacked, we went down to the main floor of the hotel looking for something to eat. But it was a bit too late because Malik got a hold of snacks that were in my purse and was munching on it.

The morning of the game, we woke up early and put on our cougar's outfits and went out for a little morning work on the strip. We were so excited to see couple of BYU fans on the strip.

Then we went out to eat at Silverton Buffet. We were in Heaven! The food was great! That is one thing that I really enjoyed about Vegas is the buffet. They had everything there.

Silverton has the biggest aquarium that I had ever seen. I mean, it was humongous. Malik really enjoyed watching that. Then after that we visited some families then we went back to the strip. Danny went on couple of rides while Malik enjoyed driving around Vegas.

And in the evening we went and watched the game.

Over all, I have to say I really enjoyed just being with my little family and just enjoying ourselves. No worrying about school, work, or anything.
