And it was Christmas...

Because of our trip to Vegas and everything else, I was so far behind on my "to do list" this year. By Christmas eve, I still hadn't have anything under my christmas tree. I was in and out different stores and dashing around town looking for different gifts for Malik and Danny. The whole time I was running around trying to do my christmas shopping, I kept telling myself that next year I will be better and get things organize and no more last minute shopping and stuff like that. I finally got things for under the tree and few things for the stocking when I realized how tiring I was and just went home. I got home and realized that I need to clean up the house. Danny and Malik finally got up from their naps and realized that it was way too late for them to run to the store and buy their christmas gifts.

The rest of the night, was spent on cleaning and talking about some goals for our little family for the new year. I waited for Danny and Malik to go to bed then I sneaked out and started wrapping the gifts. I finally got done around 2 or 3 in the morning.

On Christmas morning, I woke up early thinking that Danny and Malike were up but they were still sleeping. I waited for about an hour before I woke them up. Malik had on his pj from his grandma, Kehau which he really like.

Malik wasn't too happy that I woke him up but as soon as he noticed the christmas tree was lid up and presents were under the tree, his mood changed and so was his daddy :). He went straight to the stocking which was on the couch. His stocking was mostly food and few toys. After empting his stocking, he went right to breakfast :). I actually got that idea from a coworker. She told me that she used to do it with her kids when they were younger. She said it was a way of getting in breakfast while you open gifts on christmas morning. She was right, Malik really enjoyed it and so was his parents :).

The rest of the day we spent it with Danny's family. I will post the pictures later and I will tell you all about it... We built my 1st snowman and it was a great fun!
