Getting Ready for Christmas

It's almost Christmas and I finally got my tree and decorations up. Between school projects and final exams and other responsibilities, I haven't had any free time to get my Christmas stuff ready. But today, Malik and Danny helped me put our tree together. It was just a nice time for our little family to decorate the tree and to put up our little decorations. The most exciting thing was watching Malik's reactions.

First, Malik helped by taking out the different parts of the tree out from the box...



...and he also helped putting our tree together.



The funniest part was when we lid up the tree and he tried to eat the little light bulbs. He looked around to see if we were looking then bent down and tried to bite it.





Above all he was such a great help! We even put him on his favourite little chair right in front of the tree to be the first one to take his picture with our little Christmas tree.



Malik's favourite part is picking the ornaments off the tree and throw them all over our house. If you look closely, the lower part of our tree, has no ornaments.
