Yes, it's finally Friday and another good news, I also got paid, today. Nothing can beat that, a little cash in my purse and it's weekend..yeahie!!! Danny and Malik stayed home today. But they did call a couple of times to see what time I would be home. To day felt like it was the longest day of my life. Most of my co-workers went home early. Intially, I was going to stay till 4pm or 5pm but I only made it to like 2:30 and I went home. I totally surprised the boys when I walked inside the house. Malik gave me a really big smile and Danny gave me a relief look. Malik is way cute when he smiles and his little nose wrinkles up. just precious. Since Danny and I both got paid today, Danny was treated to L & L (Hawiian BBQ place). When Danny returned he brought with him a side order of bbq chicken intented for me to have which I ate a little.
Anyways, right before Danny left to go into work, Malik couldn't stop crying and I noticed his upper lip started to swell up. I panicked to what it might be then I remembered that I ate some nuts which I couldn't remember what kind with Rockey Kalamafoni(our neighbor) yesterday. And also there were slices of cabbage that stuck to the piece of chicken that I ate. Well, I quickly called Mele (my sister) in california and asked if I needed to take Malik to the hospital and she assured me that he was okay and that his body was probably reacting to something I ate. As I sat there with Malik on my lap, I quickly came to realization that Malik is allergic to nuts and cabbage.
