The later part of our Saturday, was spent on cleaning our chaple. Our ward is in charge of cleaning the chaple this month and I signed up on Sunday to clean it today. We started around 5pm and it took us about 2 hrs to finish. It wasn't too bad but by the end of our cleaning, both Malik and I were tired and hungry. Tevita Hafoka (auntie Vai's husband) met us at the chaple because he had the key. He opened and let us all in and since it was only me, danny, and malik, he decided to stayed back and cleaned with us. I thought that was very nice of him and at the end of our cleaning I was very thankful that he stayed and help because there was alot of cleanin to do. Malik and I were in charge of emptying the trash, and helping Tevita to fold the chairs and put them away. Danny and Tevita both vacuumed and cleaned the windows. I had to say I was really proud of Danny for what he did. At first, he was a bit reluctant to the idea but he really went all out with the cleaning. Malik was put on a sling on me and I have tell you it was quite a load. He was so heavy but I was glad that we got to clean the chaple as a family. It reminded me a lot for when I was on my mission. We had to do a lot of services per week. Well, I am thankful that both Danny and I are setting a good example for our son, Malik. It's a good feeling to do service not counting the blessings.
Here's some pictures of the event...
