Nestle Gets Together

The first thing I checked when I got up this morning was bubbah's lip. Glad to report that his lip was perfectly fine. Today, I cleaned up our house a little in the morning and then we all got ready to go to the Nestle's get together at Sipa Sekona's house. Danny and Sipa and most of the guys and their families that were there all work at Nestle. The weather was nice but it was a bit windy, I thought. We got there and there were so much food. They had a "umu" (its an underground oven use to cook food by polynesian). They also had bbq going on the sides. There were about 8 families and their kids there. We all sat out in the sun and just enjoy the sun as we talked. The food was good but there were a few pieces of meat that were over bbq, another word burned... ha ha ha OH well, it was still nice to get out in this "almost spring weather" and enjoyed ourselves. Malik was so good. He always loves to be outside so he was having a blast and especially he got to watch the kids playing.

The later part of our Saturdays was spent shopping. We went to a couple of stores to get some spring clothes but Danny ended up not getting anything and I only got 2 things and Malik had none. We got home and Danny and Malik quickly went to bed and I stayed up preparing my Relief Society Lesson for tomorrow. I have to say I love teaching but it's always hard when it's last minute. Another lady was suppose to teach but she was sick so they asked me since I am the substitute teacher for RS. It's even harder when the lesson you were suppose to each had already been taught. I finally went to bed without deciding which conference talk I would teach...
