Before we left, Danny and I made a list of things that we would do the whole week. So Monday morning, I pulled out the list and the 1st thing on the list was the Dole Plantation.
On our drive to the Dole Plantation, we stopped by Turtle Bay for a quick swim. There was no turtle and Danny was a bit disappointed about that. I told him that it was too early for the turtle to come out :) He didn't buy that but I had to keep his hope up. I also showed him my two favourite beaches which are Sunset and Waimea Beach. As soon as we got to the Dole Plantation, I jumbed out the car and took Danny and Malik straight to the snack bar to get ice-creams. The Dole Plantatio's ice-cream is my favourite. Danny and Malik even loved it. I absolutely love how they put the middle part of the pineapple in the ice-cream. It tasted so good. As we were sitting there enjoying our ice-cream, I told Danny how I used to drive down from Laie with my roommates just to get ice-creams. He laughed and thought I was crazy.
There were so many tourists there and I was so sad to find out that they are closing down the Plantation. We walked around a little bit enjoying ice-creams before we left to go to Walmart for some groceries for the week. On our way back, we were able to stop by at Sunset Beach for a swim. The ocean felt so good!!!
