Island of Paradise - Part 2

I had so much fun in Hawaii that I didn't finish blogging about our Hawaii trip so here is the 2nd part. On Sunday, we went to church with my good friend and companion from the mission, Rachael, and her husband, Walter Aitu. We barely made it to church on time (8am) because we took a late night walk to temple beach last night. Right after church, we went on a Sunday drive. I showed Danny the famous Laie Point, Haaula, and Kahuku.
We ended up at the Hafokas (Saia's parents home). We visited for a little bit and they gave us this huge tray of food to take home and big bowl of keke. It was the bomb! We took it back and shared with Rachael and Walter. We had a feast outside TVA under a tree. It was so much fun! It totally reminded me of Tonga and when I was here in school. It felt so good to be back in the Island Style.

Danny and Malik really enjoyed it. After we ate, Danny and Malik enjoyed the TVA swing.

Later on in the evening we went on a walk to the temple. It was a nice little walk from TVA to the temple. I saw couple of old friends and enjoyed the Hawaii temple. We had a great time walking around the temple ground and taking pictures.

Here are some of our pictures at the temple.

We ended up at the front lawn of the temple. We took just a couple of pictures :)

And a little more...

Yes, you DO know how to make a girl homesick! :) Mmmmm... That food looks so good. One of the many reasons I love my in-laws--they feed so well. :)

Wow...I'm sooooooo jealous especially for the big tray of food and Rachael looks so good and I never knew that she was still there. Wow. love that girl. I also love your cute lil family in front of the temple. AAAAHHHH I miss miss miss that place. I know it will never be the same as when we were in school but I love to always reminisce about the ole times. I'm glad you guys had fun.
