On our 3rd Day, we woke up early went to swapmeat. This is my favourite place to shop when I come to Hawaii. We didn't really spend a lot of money like I had anticipated on. Danny got 2 chicken heads ( as i like to call it) but they actually warriors head that people hang in their cars. I got one t-shirt for Malik and a skirt for me and thats about it. Right when we got back we went to the Polynesian Culture Center. Danny had been dying for this day since we got here. As soon as we got to PCC, Malik felt asleep but luckily we brought his stroller so I pushed him around the center while Danny admired everything about PCC. My good friend and companion from the mission, Rachael, and her husband, Walter, came with us as well so it was so much fun. We started with the New Zealand village. And, we were surprised to see Lindsay Tuaileva (Bishop Tuaileva's daughter) working at the NZ village.

Danny was the winner from our team so he advanced to the final round. It was a fun game to play.

After New Zealand, we watched the canoe show.

Because of the heat and the humidity, I decided to climb on a little tree by us to keep the sun out and to get a better view.

Right after the canoe show, we headed over to catch the canor ride. I was surprised to see two of the guys that were at my MTC class when I used to teach there(Kaufusi & Laulotu). They were both returned missionaries and going to school at BYU-Hawaii. It was so good to see them.

Both of them offered to push our canoe. The whole time we were on our canoe ride, Danny was laughing listening to the jokes and stuff they were saying about each villages as we passed them. Rachael, Walter, and I were just sitting there enjoying the ride. We finally got to the end of our canoe ride and I told Danny that they say the same script in every canoe ride. He was like really? I told him yeah honey, didn't you notice you and the tourists were the only one laughing? He felt a bit stupid but he said he still enjoyed it :).

We got off and walked around Fiji, Hawaii, and Tahiti. Danny got another fake tattoo but by this time it was on one side of his face.

I just rolled by eyes in great disappointment but that didn't stop him from getting it. We also stopped by quickly and took a picture with the Iosepa.

Our next stop was Tonga.

We all enjoyed watching the 3 volenteers trying to play the drums especially the Japanesse guy.

After Tonga, we went to Samoa for the last show of the day.

After visited all the villages, we went home for dinner then came back to watch the night show. We got hooked up to sit on the VIP Section (the 1st row in the front) which was great! But, I was surprised that they changed the night show. I, personally wasn't too impressed with the change they made but it was still fun to watch. I noticed some of the dancers from back in the days when I was here were still dancing. I'm just happy that I was able to bring Danny and Malik and showed them where I used to work and had them enjoyed the center. At the end, we all had fun!!!

I guess since Saia and I grew up there, we take PCC for granted. Spencer's been to Hawaii three times and we've never taken him to PCC! Haha, so bad. Next time! I'm sure Spencer will enjoy it like Malik did.
