Hawaii Trip - Hukilau Cafe n Valleys of the Temple

...these two could sleep for days....

On our 4th day in Hawaii, we woke up early and went down to Hukilau Cafe for breakfast. It was my first time there as well as Danny so I didn't know what would be the best thing to eat. I settled with the bacon, eggs, sausages, and coconut pancakes and Danny ordered the "hungry hawaiian." The cafe was very small and packed but I was very impressed with their service. Even, Malik loved it. We didn't wait too long before our food came. One look at my plate and I was taken a back at the sight of my pancakes. I couldn't believe how huge the pancakes were. I am a really big fan of pancakes but these pancakes were humongous!!! I ate about half of one pancakes and I told Danny to eat it. But even Danny (he can eat and eat and never gets full...) was too full to eat my left over pancakes. But overall, I enjoyed the breakfast!!!

After we ate, we took off to Kaneohe to go see the "Valleys of the Temple."

...Danny & Malik ringing the bell for good luck before entering the temple...

and inside the temple, where this huge buddah

the only time I had seen duck swimming with fish
one of the cool piece of art in the temple
malik & I in front of the temple

Man, you make me ashamed to be from Hawaii, LOL. Malik and Danny have seen and done way more things in Hawaii than me and I grew up there! Hahaha... I've never actually walked around the Valleys of the Temple and I've never set foot on Dole's Plantation. So sad. I think I'm gonna have to go there next trip home. :)
