Hawaii Trip - Pearl Harbor

The next Day I took Danny and Malik to Pearl Harbor (2nd one on our list). We got there pretty early but there were already tonnes of tourists and we were scheduled for the 2:30pm show. We walked around checking out different weapons and took more pictures. Malik did pretty good for the most part which I was glad for. Since it was my 3rd or 4th time there, I told Danny to go ahead and look around some more and I would watch Malik. The weather was not bad but it felt hotter to me than it really was. While Danny was gone, Malik and I were feeding the little birds there were flying around and enjoying ourselves. Not long, we were both bored. Danny finally got back and I complaint to him about the humidity. He didn't really seem to mind at all so there was no further discussion on it :(. Because we still had about 2 hours to go, we got more snacks and walked around some more until we got too tired to walk around and sat right next to the theater entrance.




In about noon or so the security guard that was by the door asked if we would like to go in earlier, I guess he noticed that we had been sitting there for a while. I told him we would love to so he let us in earlier than our scheduled time which was nice. The movie was very touchy, it was basically about what happened in December 7th, 1941 in Pearl Harbor. After the movie we all got into a shuttle boat that took us to the USS ARIZONA MEMORIAL site. While watching the movie and sitting on our boat ride to the Memorial site, both Danny and I was reminded of how grateful we were for the many women and men that lost their lives in the battle field to protect my freedom and for making America the greatest place to live.
